Your records and data remain both confidential and safe.

File Centre runs a secure manned warehouse within an enclosed yard with the following security arrangements:

  • Intruder alarms monitored by a central station with police and mobile security patrol attendance, warehouse proximity entry systems, and visual security systems.
  • Separate warehouse proximity entry system within the main building for authorised personnel only.
  • Manned night security
  • Background security checks of all staff.
  • Satellite vehicle tracking on all File Centre transport.
  • Random storage areas for your boxes so that they are specifically not all stored together.
  • No smoking throughout the premises.
  • No sprinkler systems so records cannot be water-damaged by a false alarm.
  • Fire-rated storage is an option provided by a 2-hour fire-rated area for those sensitive documents or data requiring additional fire protection - the environment is temperature and humidity controlled within BS5454 guidelines.
  • Uniformed staff so that your employees can recognise the personnel removing or delivering your files. Photographic namebadges are issued where specified or for use with particularly sensitive items/departments; and, of course, service vehicles are locked at all points of collection and delivery.
